This product is an assembly that screws together.  The pieces will be bonded together before shipping to prevent it from coming unscrewed in your pocket but if you prefer we leave it unbonded so you an change the ferrule just shoot us a note after checkout to let us know.  

Ferrule is made of plastic.   Keychain and single prong elements are stainless steel.  Base piece is made of aluminum.
